Such Is Life Photography Blog

I’m kind of excited to finally be blogging this session.  In part, because I just love these two close friends and am happy to have had the opportunity to work with them for their engagement pictures…..and also, because it finally gives me a valid reason to talk about one of my other loves in life, Ultimate.  I think it was first mentioned in this post but there wasn’t really a good reason to elaborate.

There are a few images below of Jerome & Marie with discs.  To clarify, they aren’t just overly obsessed with frisbees, well, they are, but that’s not why they included them in their engagement photos.  You see, they met and fell in love with each other while playing Ultimate, it was only right to take a few shots with a couple of their favorite discs.  You know, some people fall in love over coffee, some people fall in love at frisbee.  And yes, that is where I met them, a couple of years ago, and it didn’t take me long to know that I would need to start carving out some time each week to play this sport too.

So here are my top 5 reasons you should play Ultimate:

5 – It’s one of the fastest growing sports in America, don’t be the last one to try it out.

4 – All the fun you are having will make you forget how much exercise you are getting.

3 -Opportunity to travel and meet new people.  Check out Marie’s disc, Vegas anyone?

2 – There’s a Championship Series.  Yep.

1 -  And this one should be obvious from this post, but you might just meet the love of your life.

Anyway, sorry to Jerome and Marie for hijacking their moment to talk about Ultimate instead.  Somehow I think they will be good with it.  It was fun spending the afternoon with you during this session.   Hope you enjoy your pictures, can’t wait for the big day!
